Today we’d like to introduce you to Jamie Steelman.
Hi Jamie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started in the Mortgage business almost 30 years ago. I was working for a vending company filling up vending machines and the company that I worked for sold out to a large national company and they kept all of the assets except for the employees so I started looking for another profession and went through a few things and eventually a headhunter friend of mine recommending the mortgage business And said that I’d be good in sales, which was kind of ironic because I was always quiet and not very outgoing. I started learning the Mortgage business and kind of the rest is history. It’s been the favorite thing that I’ve ever done. I love helping people and it’s become an incredible career for myself and my team
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely the hardest challenge that I’ve had in my life was losing my my son Ryan in 2016 when he was 21 years old. Grief is very hard and it has been a very trying time in my life as I’ve learned to walk this journey daily and I’m so thankful for the people around me, but it’s definitely been my biggest challenge.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I have an amazing team of people that work with me and make great things happen for the community, homebuyers, real estate, agents, builders, and so much more. We have a team that is like a family and together we make things incredible for people.

I have a blended family and I’ve been with my wife Stacy for 16 years and we have six children and 3 grandchildren in our blended family and we are extremely blessed and lucky to have the amazing family that we have
