Conversations with Jeffrey Wachman

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeffrey Wachman

Hi Jeffrey, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey in nightlife began 17 years ago as a bartender at a nightclub in NYC, where I met the team behind Hunkomania. As we worked together, a strong professional relationship—and friendship—developed. Over time, we discovered a shared passion and vision for nightlife entertainment, transforming our collaboration into a dynamic global partnership. What started as a vision for Hunk-O-Mania to go nationwide evolved into something far greater, with Hunk-O-Mania the Male Revue, Diva Royale the Drag Queen Show, and The Red Velvet Burlesque Show becoming worldwide sensations.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Building these brands alongside Armand Peri and Fran Peri has been incredible and rewarding, but it has also demanded perseverance, resilience, and constant adaptability. Together, we’ve overcome countless challenges, from refining show concepts to coordinating logistics, managing teams, and navigating the complexities of expanding internationally. Each step has pushed us to innovate and redefine what’s possible in the nightlife entertainment industry. Our shared vision and commitment have been the driving force behind creating unique, high-energy experiences that resonate with audiences worldwide, transforming our dream into a global phenomenon.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m dedicated to building businesses that make a meaningful impact, especially within nightlife and entertainment. It’s incredibly rewarding to support so many talented performers and craft memorable experiences for thousands worldwide each month. The journey has had its challenges, but each brand—whether Hunk-O-Mania, Diva Royale, or Red Velvet—carries a purpose beyond business. I’m especially proud of the teams we’ve built, all driven by a shared passion for success. Resilience sets me apart; I adapt to industry shifts without losing sight of the big picture, always aiming to enhance each brand’s impact.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My advice to anyone just starting out in any entrepreneurial endeavor is to believe in yourself and never let anyone tell you that you can’t achieve something. Success requires resilience, and you’ll face people who doubt your vision or question your capabilities. Push past those voices, stay focused, and commit to your goals. Trusting in your own abilities is key, even when things get tough. Remember, every obstacle is an opportunity to grow, so embrace the journey, keep learning, and always stay true to the path you’ve set for yourself.
