Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenny Grace.
Hi Jenny, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I grew up with a deep love for music and storytelling, but my career first led me into serving the country. I served at 17 and later built a career supporting complex defense and aerospace programs. While engineering became my profession, songwriting was always my passion.
Eventually, I decided to pursue music with the same dedication I brought to my engineering career. I moved to Nashville and began writing songs that blend modern country with honest, relatable storytelling. My music is inspired by real experiences—love, loss, resilience, and the courage to start over.
Today, as Jenny Grace, my goal is to create music that genuinely connects with people. Whether it’s an empowering anthem or an emotional ballad, I hope every song reminds listeners they’re not alone and tells a story they’ll carry with them long after the music ends.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No journey is ever completely smooth. Like many independent artists, one of the biggest challenges has been balancing a demanding engineering career while pursuing music at the highest level. Building a music career requires an incredible amount of time, persistence, and personal investment.
I’ve also experienced setbacks that shaped both me and my songwriting. There have been moments of loss, heartbreak, and having to start over, but those experiences became the inspiration behind many of my songs. Rather than letting challenges define me, I’ve tried to channel them into music that feels honest and relatable.
Every obstacle has reinforced why I create music in the first place—to connect with people through authentic stories and remind them that even difficult chapters can lead to something meaningful.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
As Jenny Grace, I create modern country music rooted in honest storytelling. My songs explore themes of resilience, love, heartbreak, healing, and starting over, with the goal of making listeners feel seen and understood.
In addition to my country career, I’m also the lead vocalist of the rock/metal band AAETHERIA. Last year, we toured Europe twice, performing in arenas alongside Nightwish, which gave me the opportunity to connect with audiences on an international stage. Being able to move between country and rock has helped me grow tremendously as a songwriter and performer.
What I’m most proud of is building a career that’s authentic to who I am. Whether I’m performing an intimate country ballad or fronting a rock band in front of thousands of fans, my focus is always on delivering genuine emotion and creating a memorable experience. I believe that versatility—combined with a commitment to authentic storytelling—is what sets me apart as an artist.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I don’t think of myself as someone who takes reckless risks—I believe in taking calculated ones. Every meaningful step in my career has required stepping outside my comfort zone, but I’ve always tried to balance passion with preparation.
One of the biggest risks I took was pursuing music professionally while building an established career in another field. I invested my own time and resources into writing, recording, and touring because I believed in the long-term vision, even without any guarantees.
Another major leap was becoming the frontwoman for AAETHERIA and touring Europe twice in arenas alongside Nightwish. Performing on international stages in front of thousands of people was both exciting and intimidating, but it pushed me to grow tremendously as an artist and performer.
To me, risk isn’t about making impulsive decisions—it’s about believing in yourself enough to pursue opportunities that can change your life. Some risks don’t work out exactly as planned, but every one of them has taught me something valuable and helped shape the artist I am today.
The risk has paid off- as these tours and opening for major artists has opened doors for my music career. I recently signed two synch deals with Aaetheria for the music to be placed in tv, video games and movies. I also signed a deal to be the female vocalist for movie trailers with a label called Trailer Bros in Hollywood, California. They discovered me through my Aaetheria page and saw my work I have done with Jenny Grace and my writing. I also signed a publishing deal with Voyager Publishing, lead by industry executives from BMG and Warner Music.
Also in June 2026, a German label discovered Jenny Grace on Spotify and we are teaming up to release two EPs in August and September. “House on Fire” will drop in August and “Saint Anejo” in September. It has been a great year for music!
