Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremy Castle.
Hi Jeremy, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I took my first guitar lessons during the end of my senior year of high school. I wanted to learn to strum along to some of my favorite Merle Haggard and George Strait songs. During college, I continued to practice and began writing some original songs of my own.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s been a lot of fun. I don’t know how smooth it has been. It’s a lot easier to build a fan base than to get music industry people to listen to your music. I guess it all depends on what your goals are. I just enjoy writing songs and seeing them come to life.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I used to perform more than I do now. I just enjoy writing songs a lot more now. I guess the thing I am probably most proud of is just when I complete a song that turns out good.

My wife has been my biggest supporter in whatever it is I do.
