Conversations with Kdot 615

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kdot 615.

Hi Kdot 615, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Growing up, I was always part of the club scene and promoting parties from teen nights to downtown nightlife.

I got into music and promotions along the way and found my way onto the quality control promotional team helping with the marketing and promotions in the streets for the various artist on the label and indies.

I’ve been able to grow a strong following and relationship with the head of marketing for QC Mr. Too Official with #QCDJS we were able to come up with a showcase for the city that has been going on now for 3 years with DopeshitonlyCrew.

I also worked with artists in the city such as LRoyDaBoy over the years a headliner in the city making big moves and still trying to perfect my craft!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has definitely not been easy for me has taken some hard work and dedication and time. The hard part is travel and time away from family and kids but I’m managing quite well.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I do promotions, A/R, and manager type work in the music business working with QCDJS with The indie Label Quality Control I’ve learned a lot from MrtooOfficial and just following the steps to climb the ladder to where I need to be.

I’ve gained plenty of relationships with artists, DJs, and promoters all over the country. My hard work and drive to get things done and satisfy the artist I’m working for is my passion, I take my work seriously and expect results.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I was really outgoing growing up and loved to make jokes, hang out with friends have fun, and play sports. I was very athletic and known for it in the city baseball and football.
