Conversations with Neal Burnette-Irwin

Today we’d like to introduce you to Neal Burnette-Irwin.

Hi Neal, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
When we last spoke, I had recently moved from Knoxville to the Nashville area while finishing my journalism degree at Middle Tennessee State University. Since then, I’ve graduated, started working for RFD News, and continued building my modeling career with AMAX Agency in Nashville and The Rock Agency in Chicago.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My biggest challenge since our last interview was performing with Ranch Hands Cowboylesque for two years. I came into it with very little dance experience, so learning choreography while singing live every weekend was a huge adjustment, especially as the youngest member of the cast. Looking back, it was one of the most demanding yet rewarding chapters of my career, and it even gave me the opportunity to perform alongside country artists like Dasha.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m most proud that I’ve been able to turn something I’ve loved since I was a kid into a career. I’ve been fortunate to model for brands like Kendra Scott, Lee Jeans x Kacey Musgraves, Timex, and Quip, while also acting in music videos for artists like Muscadine Bloodline and Walker Hayes.

Any big plans?
I’ve been working on a personal project that means a lot to me. It’s a short documentary about Piccolo Animal Sanctuary here in Nashville and the amazing work they do rescuing animals. It’s been a lot of fun making it with my friends Will Baldwin and Sawyer Caldemeyer, and I’m looking forward to sharing it later this year.
