Conversations with Rich McCann

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rich McCann.

Hi Rich, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I started my acting career back in 2014. At that point in my life, I decided I would leave my career and pursue a passion I had since high school.

From then on, I started doing background work on television shows and eventually elevated myself to getting my first lines on TV. Can’t thank the ID Channel enough for that opportunity. My last commercial appearance came in an Enterprise commercial that I filmed in Nashville back in October!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Pursuing anything in life can be a challenge but it’s a matter of enjoying the journey along the way! My career has had its highs and lows but life is about the balance.

One of the struggles as an up-and-coming actor is maintaining financial stability while auditioning. It’s a career that’s not for the weak to say the least but thanks to God I have weathered the storms!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m an actor and model. I specialize in commercials and film: I am most known for my cameo in the Megan the Stallions Music Video “Captain Hook” as well as my very first dating reality TV appearance on Lifetime’s “Five Guys a Week”. What sets me apart from others is my relentless work effort and dedication to my craft.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success is accomplishing the attended goals you set out for yourself whether it’s big or small.
