Hi Robin , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
With a voice that sounds like it was born in the heart of the American South, Robin Tinholt is a modern country artist from Norway redefining expectations. Rooted in Nashville-inspired storytelling and driven by a lifelong passion for music, Robin has been singing and writing since the age of 14 carrying on a deep-rooted family tradition.
Robin recorded his debut EP at the legendary Capitol Records in Los Angeles and is currently working on his first full-length album alongside top-tier Nashville songwriters. His distinctive sound blends country authenticity with a contemporary edge, resonating with listeners far beyond Scandinavia.
His music has earned placements on multiple Spotify editorial playlists, helping introduce his sound to a growing global audience. One standout collaboration a genre-bending track with Swedish House Mafia has surpassed 17.3 million streams and continues to gain momentum worldwide.
Now preparing to travel to the United States to fully pursue his dreams, Robin Tinholt is entering a new chapter of his journey proving that country music knows no borders, only heart.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
after the Covid hit everything started to fall apart, I got sick and I’m still struggling a little with my health. I have a heart condition and I have to much blood in my system, but I’m getting the help I need now. I had a lot of setbacks with loosing my house and everything after I got sick and on top of that my ex was unfaithful after being together for 15years. So all in all it’s been alot.

I have always heard that I sing with the heart on my shoulder.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I have adhd, soo I have always been active and always had a passion for working out and getting strong. I only want to do good and be able to help people around me as much as I possibly can. That pretty much sums me up. “It cost soo little to be kind to each other” ❤️
