Conversations with Savannah Sneed

Today we’d like to introduce you to Savannah Sneed.

Hi Savannah, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve always wanted to be in the hair industry. I went into Cosmetology school as soon as I graduated high school in 2011. The longer I did hair, the more I fell in love with the barbershop niche. I feel very lucky to be a part of the White House Dapper Barbershop team and be in a unique environment every day while getting to do what I love.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
There were some struggles for a few years; there was burnout, the broke years, and the self discovery years. I’m happy to say I’m more passionate than ever to hone my craft

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in burst fades, mullets, beards, and kids cuts. I’m proud to have the flexibility to do any haircut and what sets me apart from others is that I care about my customers and what’s going on in their life. We become close through the barber chair and building relationships is so important to me

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I went from a corporate salon to the barbershop I’m at now and it was a huge risk at the time. I already had guarantee customers and a steady check but my passion wasn’t there. Nothing is worth it if you aren’t passionate about what you do.

Pricing:
