Today we’d like to introduce you to Teresa Lo.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
We live on 44 acres with a lake set in the middle. My daughter asked me to build a barn for her to get married 7 years ago. I have always wanted and dreamed about sharing the beauty of this lake with others. So the barn was completed in 2017. We have been in business for 5 years.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I was very open about what I wanted when I approached the county official about building this wedding venue. They were very helpful and supportive. We choose to connect with more DIY brides. We offer fair pricing, convenience, and ultimate experience from beginning to end. It has been a very smooth ride.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I have been a pharmacy manager (pharmacist ) professionally for over 35 years. I have owned a Chinese restaurant for 30 years. I also dealt with the real estate business some throughout the years. I owned some real estate rentals. I am also a dance teacher. I teach line dancing, swing, ballroom, salsa, and country dancing. Ultimately, I have become a venue owner for the last 5 years offering brides a great venue for beautiful weddings.
I am most proud of myself for being a person who cares about others. My goal in life is to offer others a great experience when they cross my path. I am positive and genuine.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
As a pharmacy manager, I have mentored many new upcoming pharmacists and coached my team to be the best possible. As a restaurant owner, I have worked and support my husband for the entire operation. As a rental business owner, I have offered my tenants good experience about renting.
As a dance teacher, I have coached and encouraged others to have fun and explore their own capabilities. As a venue owner, I have offered a great venue for others to have a beautiful event with a great setting.

This place is a little off the beaten path but so well worth it. Teresa is a professional event organizer and can handle it all. She’ll even give the bride, groom and their parents a few dance lessons to make their special once-in-a-lifetime dances really special. You will not regret contacting her!
