Hi Third, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
“Fresh Out The Garden” is more than just a slogan or my own personal lingo might I add, but more importantly a way of life from the seeds, the roots, the care, the production, and the harvest!” I personally always tell my guys, “There is no more getting it out of the mud, we’re in the growing business over here and nothing grows in the mud!” I got my start by the grace of God to whom all praise is given! I was in a position to help my great grandfather before he transitioned and after waiting on him hand and foot, cleaning his home and ridding the environment of those who had no intentions of helping I was left with idle time when a distant cousin of mine offered me a few select seeds and I can honestly say, though I grew up in a rural area and had saw farms in transit and my local neighborhood produced plenty home gardens I had never learned, or was ever remotely taught to garden or grow any type of produce. So that cousin and those choice seeds, actually started out as more of a hobby and nothing as passionate as my current state of gardening. I told myself I’d try to grow these vegetables and if I wasn’t successful, I could at least say that I gave it a try though it wasn’t giving full effort at the beginning, but once the plants started to grow and I begin my due diligence on many of the how to guides online, I somehow encountered a knack for growing vegetables, the biggest and best all natural and organic! I love to grow, show and teach this art as a professional way of life and natural therapy! I think everyone should have a vegetable plant or a fruit tree to tend to! The inspiration for my latest writings, music productions, and social commentary is most certainly drawn from my “Fresh Out The Garden” brand and I look forward to delivering more of what God has in store for me to you the reader and all those that subscribe to my eclectic campaign! I’m just keeping it cayanne with you!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has been smooth; I say that because I am the engineer of the road and any unforeseen circumstances, or situations is what makes the journey memorable and the ultimate goal nothing short of miraculous. How sun, water, time, and care can produce lifesaving proteins, carbs, and in some cases natural healing herbs! I’ve had to deal with the elements of the seasons change; there was a time that I’d ran out of rainwater for my garden and could only pray for rain, I’ve dealt with different plant deficiencies, bugs or insects that can ruin gardens, rodents such as rabbit and moles, even human thieves plotting to get the harvest before due time, but again the level of satisfaction from adherence to protocol and detailed care can’t be matched and can be quite difficult to explain to anyone who hasn’t partaken in consuming fresh produce. In correlation to my life the plants also make one as a caregiver reflect, respect, and set boundaries, understanding that in this life that with some pest, elements, and situations including dealing with people you have to be proactive about addressing issues before you plant, while the plants are growing and who has access to the harvest!

I am a confident renaissance man! I control my own destiny and through the grace of God. I have created my own superhighway of being a leader in several lanes of urban culture! From lingo, to fashion, music, acting, gardening (organic) comedy, and social commentary! I hold my own and take pride in reaching and teaching the youth and getting some major straightening out of the adults! I don’t co-sign sucker shit and I represent the biggest and best of hoods “fatherhood!” I could write you a hit record, dress or design an outfit for any occasion, be prepared to showcase my eclectic diversity anytime the cameras are on and put you up on game as it pertains to specifics in pop culture, the urban diaspora, history and current events!
