Today we’d like to introduce you to Travis Mobley.
Travis, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Travis started playing music at an early age of 12. By the age of 14 he was already playing local music venues in and around his hometown of Searcy, Ar. In 2007 Travis made the decision to move to Nashville Tn. Since then he has made waves in the music industry. As a solo artist and musician, Travis has made his mark in Nashville, playing piano and singing background vocals for such artists as Billy Currington, Chris Young, Clay Walker, Tracy Lawrence, Daryle Singletary, just to mention a few. He is also a former member of Grammy award winning country super group, Shenandoah, and he is currently out on tour with Randy Travis on his highly acclaimed “More Life Tour”. As a solo artist he has had two songs go viral. One being one of his original songs, “Save Me”. The other was a cover of the Keith Whitley and Lorrie Morgan classic “Til a Tear Becomes a Rose”, with his wife of 28 years, Cris Mobley.. It has had millions of views on social media as well as millions of streams, which lead to a massive growth of followers on Facebook and TikTok. I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It is def not something that happens over night. A lot of networking and busting your tail. You can’t wait on it to just be handed to you. You gotta get out there and hustle for it.

I am a multi instrumentalist/singer/songwriter. Piano has been the main instrument that most people associate me with.
What makes you happy?
Other than music, I love my home life. Spending time with my wife and dog. My wife is my rock.
