Daily Inspiration: Meet Annie Bacon

Today we’d like to introduce you to Annie Bacon.

Annie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I have traveled my whole life, but in 2023 I finally made the leap to sign up as a travel agent with Travelmation. I quickly became a Top Producer in 2024 and have maintained this status since.

Just over a year ago I was diagnosed with stage 3 Breast Cancer at 35 years old and have turned my diagnosis and fight into something bigger – The Pink Ribbon Passport Society. We are a group for those who have been affected by Breast Cancer and have our first annual Breast Cancer Cruise in March 2027. We have over 50 rooms booked for our first cruise and hope to more than double this number going forward for future years!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No!! Struggles such as industry changes, AI, ghosting by clients after spending hours on planning a trip then seeing them on the trip I planned but they booked on their own.

My breast cancer diagnosis in August 2025 was a time where I wondered if I would be able to continue working during treatment and the unknown of my future, but I pushed thru and am busier than ever now and growing my business.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a full service concierge travel advisor specializing in Cruises – both River and Ocean, European destinations and Domestic travel..

I’m know for being one of the two founders of The Pink Ribbon Passport Society – a group dedicated to creating group travel for those who have been affected by Breast cancer in any way. I’m proud of myself for persevering through my diagnosis and treatment while not letting my business be affected and maintaining my status as a Top Producer for 3 years now.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Beach trips with my family to the Florida Panhandle will always be the memories I won’t forget.
