Dante’, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Hey I’m Dante’Reynolds also known as Danzy, I’m a young Jamaican Entrepreneur, full time Fitness Trainer , Content Creator and of course a Business Owner. I moved to Nashville 2 years ago and decided to bring my business ideas to life.
Firstly I must say I’ve always been a Business minded person , always Coming up with ideas to make a new business work for me which I have been doing for awhile now. since I’ve moved to the States creating a BOXER’S brand has always been an idea of mine and I thought let me just go ahead and start. I used Style and preferences of what I like to create my brand called REYN. You might wonder why REYN? Well this name comes from the last 4 letters of my last name (REYNOLDS) and being a family guy I just had to keep my tradition going. My type of style is always to feel Comfortable, Unique, masculine and Sexy in what I wear. Those 4 words are my Motto to creating my amazing brand. I continued with using my preference once again to Create a boxers where it stays in place , sweat Proof and durable with great texture. I contacted many companies and manufacturers to see who can work with me to create the fabrics and style I like. I came across a company and sent them my ideas , got the sample , and I loved it ofcourse after 3 Attempts with samples. I then proceed to make my online website and to promote my upcoming boxers line that included all Sizings and Colors that are unusual & unique I launched in August 2023 and it was a successes , sold out within a week! I then launched a few more colors that has been Requested by customers which has done great too. I aim to add some more merchandises , such as Tank Top , Briefs , Socks etc, lounge wear. I’m looking forward to expand and get the brand out there as best as possible.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a struggle of creating a business from scratch , I’ve came across obstacles such as getting the sample and not liking it , did around 3 samples before I was pleased, not to mention creating the website on my own from scratch , getting the business registered , Making Promotional Flyers etc while still working a full time job.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I have a lot of proud moments which starts with my clients and their amazing results, seeing their confident level goes from 0-100 , not to mention the daily Results and consistency from them. I’ve creating a page on instagram called (Fitwitdanzy._) which is a one stop shop for your daily workout routines and motivational quotes to keep you going!
I’m also Proud of myself for putting ideas together to launch my boxers brand and actually got exactly what I wanted it to be , and just thinking about how and where I’ll be in 5 years in both my current businesses.
What sets me apart from others a would be my CONSISTENCY, I never stop working , never stop thinking about IDEAS to make MONEY to make the LIFE I want for myself and family , to always keep going. Sometimes they say it’s better to focus on one thing to get great results but I always think life is about balancing. I want to be able to always keep up & running more than one businesses and having more than one sources of income from all directions and not SETTLING. Building an EMPIRE.
If you’re a young entrepreneur like I am , don’t give up and keep working. It will pay off some how.
How do you think about happiness?
MYSELF – Just keep Dreaming.
FREEDOM – Being able to move off of God’s timing.
FAMILY – Seeing my Mother , siblings, my other half and Love ones happy , being able to provide for them.
MONEY – Being able to Provide and benefit from what I’ve worked so hard for. Simple enjoying life.
