Daily Inspiration: Meet Dori Gronich

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dori Gronich.

Dori, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I grew up on Long Island, New York and graduated college from the State University of New York at Oswego with a bachelors degree in Graphic Design and a minor in expressive arts therapy.
I moved to Nashville 5 years ago and fell in love with music city. It’s a wonderful place and I’m enjoying living here!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s been a bumpy road but I finally feel happy with where I’m at. One of the reasons I like Nashville is there are a lot of creative folks and there’s always something fun going on.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I recently wrote and produced a song called “Happily Ever After”. I played the harmonica and wrote the lyrics. It sends a positive message and has quite a twist at the end!

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
A simple sketch book and journal works really well for me. There’s no need to be all fancy and expensive. I find it very relaxing to write in my journal.
