Daily Inspiration: Meet Erin Stoll

Today we’d like to introduce you to Erin Stoll.

Hi Erin, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I am a singer/songwriter, Nashville Recording Artist, performer, NPC Wellness competitor, and fitness/wellness coach. I’m also a wife, and a mom of 3 kids (ages 8, 14, and 17).

I had always dreamed of being a singer as a little girl and told my parents that I would be a rockstar someday and that I would record in Nashville one day. I started out singing in school, singing in elite choirs, then tried out for several star searches throughout my young adult life. I then started out singing with my first jam band in my little village of Lodi called Hambone Jambone. A few years later joined a band called Sudden Change as the female lead singer. I consistently shared my singing on social media and YouTube as well during this time.

I got a call one day from producer Randy Rockit and manager James Rea in Nashville and I decided to follow my dream and record an EP! I did just that! I now have music on iTunes, Spotify, Youtube, Pandora, etc. to share with the world. I received the best country song from the Ohio Music Awards in 2017. Have had the honor of opening for national acts here in Ohio. I perform full band and acoustic shows all around Ohio, IN, and surrounding states.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The music business is never a smooth road. But the key is to never give up. You are going to get rejected, A LOT.

That’s one step closer to a YES. I’ve been taken advantage of, I’ve been used, stepped on, laughed at, and told I’d never make it. I’ve never let that stop me.

Also, being a mama of 3 kids and a wife, it’s a balancing act and sometimes a struggle to fit everything in.

But I have a supportive family and husband who are with me every step of the way.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a singer/songwriter and Nashville recording artist, known for my uplifting, soulful, get-you-out-of-your-seat country rock performances. I’m most proud of receiving the best country song in 2017 at the Ohio Music Awards. I truly believe that anything is possible, and I am known for my positive, upbeat, and inspiring attitude.

When I’m not performing or writing music, I’m a full-time mama, and COO of my husband’s tree company. You can sometimes find me working out in the field dragging and cutting brush. I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty!

So maybe we end by discussing what matters most to you and why?
Family and God matter to me most. Without my family and God in my life, I would not be where I am today. God blessed me with a voice and gift to share with the world. Without Him, I would not be able to do what I do.
