Today we’d like to introduce you to Halle Kearns.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I grew up listening to country music and always had a love and appreciation for it. When I was about 13 years old, I picked up a guitar and started writing songs. I knew by 16 years old that music is what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I began playing shows right out of high school at 18. About 300 performances later, I packed up and moved to Nashville in March of 2019! Every day has been an adventure and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There have been countless highs and lows. I’m constantly learning how to navigate this industry and my craft, but I’m very passionate about what I do. I’ve learned to treat the “lows and no’s” as learning experiences, and always press forward!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a country artist/songwriter. I would say I’m most proud that I was able to create a career out of a pipe dream. I chased something that lit me up inside and have been able to create a sustainable lifestyle off of one of my greatest loves – music.
What’s next?
I try to refrain from planning to far down the line because things are constantly changing and evolving. I like to be well prepared for whatever is thrown at me and just roll with it! What I look forward to most is seeing what unexpected blessing each day holds, and allowing it to take me wherever I’m supposed to be!
