Hi Jasmine, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Jasmine Peterson, founder of Beauty by A’meera, started the company in 2019 with a line of lipsticks. Jasmine was inspired in 2016 when her everyday look turned into wearing lipstick and a cardigan with other attire for work. Give a woman the right lipstick and she can conquer the world.

Jasmine was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama and has resided in Nashville, TN for over 15 years. She enjoys new adventures, music, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She is a graduate of Alabama State University with a BS in Business Management and earned a Masters of Business Management with a Concentration in Entrepeurship from DeVry University, Keller School of Management.

She dreamed of being an entrepreneur as a kid, she always came up with innovative ideas and saw challenges as stepping stones. She has a passion for beauty, desires to inspire others and challenge women to express their beauty boldly. She is a certified makeup artist and started her makeup journey in 2012. These are a few of the reasons why she implemented a beauty business for queens to explore and meet their life’s potential

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, nothing worth accomplishing will be smooth. I tackle every challenge as a stepping stone for the next level of the journey.

I’m a Medicare Appeal Analyst. I have a passion for helping people especially seniors and children. To see a smile on their faces, I know I have accomplished my mission.
I’m most proud of how much I pour into myself daily, my competition is the person I was yesterday. I incorporate fitness, mediation, prayer into my daily routine, just to name a few.
What set me apart is my bold and confident aura energy. I’m in purpose, on purpose. When God is active in your life, everything you do or involved in will flourish. I’m big on boundaries and self care.

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters to me the most is my unwillingness to give up. When my mind is set, nothing will stop me until I see my dream(s) come true.
My character matters, I present myself with class and the upmost respect. My presences will speak for themselves.
