Daily Inspiration: Meet Jay White

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jay White.

Hi Jay, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My name is Jay White. Musician singer- songwriter/producer out of Nashville Tn. Started playing music at 2 years of age. My dad is a pastor so I spent a lot of time honing my skills in church. Understanding my purpose, my gift began to make room for me and I’ve been on the journey ever since.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Well in order to know what it is to win you have to lose. This is a life of faith so you never really know anything. The struggle is to remain steadfast in what you believe, in the picture you see of yourself and your goals even in the midst of uncertainty. That’s not easy, and you’ll find out it’s levels as you journey on, but it surely is worth it

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am music! I play, sing, write, produce and I’m blessed to make a living doing what I love. I’m currently touring and getting ready to release my Christmas Ep “Jay Whites Christmas nov 19th. What sets me apart from others is my style the way I hear melodies and chords and fuse them uniquely with life giving lyrics. It’s all life giving and It’s pretty cool and I’m blessed to know I’ve been given something no one but me can do. It is a gift indeed, and i intend to bless as many as I can with this gift that has first been a blessing to me.
