Daily Inspiration: Meet Jenn Sepahvand

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenn Sepahvand

Hi Jenn, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey into floral design began in the unlikeliest of places—a desert where growing flowers felt impossible. But even in that harsh environment, my passion for blooms took root. Years later, I found myself in Tennessee, working at a flower shop that became the perfect place to refine my skills and fall deeper in love with the art of floral design.

It wasn’t long before I knew I wanted to create something of my own. With a vision for more than just beautiful arrangements, I launched Elysian Floral Atelier, a studio dedicated to crafting unique florals and fostering creativity. The road was filled with challenges, but every setback fueled my determination.

Today, my work is about more than flowers—it’s about bringing joy, celebrating life’s moments, and building connections. My story is proof that even the smallest dreams can bloom into something extraordinary with resilience and heart.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road hasn’t been smooth at all. After finishing my bachelor’s degree, I felt lost and without direction. Starting over was incredibly hard, but I eventually found my path. I had the privilege of working alongside so many creative minds who challenged me and completely reshaped the way I thought. There were times I wanted to quit, but I stayed strong and kept pushing forward.

Launching my own business came with its own set of hurdles: navigating financial risks, balancing creativity with logistics, and building a brand from the ground up. Just when I thought I had everything figured out, life took another turn—I became a mom. Now, I’m in a new chapter, balancing motherhood and being a businesswoman.

It’s been far from easy, but I’ve learned to adapt and keep moving forward. Each challenge has taught me resilience and made me even more determined to succeed. We’re taking it one step at a time and finding our way through.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At Elysian Floral Atelier, I specialize in creating bespoke floral arrangements for weddings and events, blending artistic vision with my clients’ unique styles. My work ranges from lush arches and centerpieces to intimate sweetheart table designs. What I’m known for is my ability to turn ideas into captivating floral installations, often exceeding expectations even within tight budgets.

I’m most proud of the personal connections I build with my clients, helping them feel seen and celebrated during life’s most memorable moments. What truly sets me apart is my attention to detail, my willingness to adapt, and my focus on crafting designs that feel both luxurious and authentic—no matter the scale of the event.

Beyond the blooms, I strive to create an experience where clients feel valued, inspired, and part of something uniquely beautiful. It’s more than just flowers—it’s storytelling through design.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Risk-taking has been a defining part of my journey. One of the biggest risks I took was leaving a great position with a stable income and what felt like a secure future to launch my own business. Walking away from that stability to trust myself and pursue my dream was terrifying. There were financial uncertainties, moments of doubt, and the constant fear of failure.

But I’ve learned that taking risks is essential for growth. Every big leap—whether moving to Tennessee, starting my business, or balancing entrepreneurship with becoming a mother—has come with challenges, but also incredible rewards.

I believe risk-taking is about trusting your vision and being willing to embrace the unknown. It’s not always about succeeding right away; it’s about learning, adapting, and moving forward despite the fear. Each risk I’ve taken has taught me resilience and opened doors I never imagined. For me, the greatest risk would have been not trying at all.
