Today we’d like to introduce you to Kareem Aaron.
Hi Kareem, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Kareem Aaron. I go by SheLovesFlacko I was born in , New Albany, Mississippi. Raised in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. I always been around music. My family always been in the music and then the church music also and then down south of Southern southern blue country played a big part in my sound day. I started music back in 2018 started taking serious, but I always did music since like middle school one of my neighborhood friends named Robert. He had a little studio set and it was like dying back in so ever since then he was like yeah if he got it man, I gotta get here I can do so I can have it set a record when I want boom boom so that motivate me and push me to really get my own equipment but in 2018 at the basketball cause I play I played basketball since second grade all throughout and briefly football and other things but in 2018 my last year was junior year ended of my junior going to my senior. I start taking music start dropping mixtapes working with people around Nashville area like DJ coop DJ Chill producers like Topperatwood Lil Frenchie and working with other NAshville artist like to 2live bre and surrounding city’s like big bratt stiff Barbie and baby Jayy and just keep on working and I start as a Group Me and childhood friend Chucky3xs as group at first in 2018 was pushing that hard and then then slow that can start doing my own thing but we still as a group and thematic duo but we do our own chapter 2, but I just been pushing independently all all on our own all of my own music videos working with the top video for photographers in the area Bornwinnerbj, Polo Stoner, CruzControl, and then working with the top photographers as in like Photosbyzo and plenty more and just trying to get my name around the area in the city and I just been doing that for now seven years in a game still independent still trying to make a name but you know all due time is gonna happen and wanna do. It’s gonna be a takeover.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It been A Long Journey You Just Gotta trust The Process especially when you’re independent he has his ups and downs like anything in life. This is part of the world you just gotta keep pushing specially when you put all your money into it and then be in your hometown. You might have some people that you want that you want to see support you Bodang poor you got others that you don’t even know you support and then it’s like you just gotta keep pushing and then you gotta keep your own motivation. Keep network and keep me different people keep stepping outside the composer, comfort zone, and just growing, but it’s been a long journey difficult but that’s that’s the beauty of it.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a music artist I have a clothing brand. I’m a Barber and a businessman. I’m proud of how always tried to become better each day. Don’t give up keep pushing and keep working and when they say, I can’t do it
I can and if I say I’m gonna do it eventually, I’m gonna do it. Was sent me apart from others is I do my own thing. I’m a leader. Don’t follow the way. If I create the wave I always know there’s room to grow learn you can learn from anybody. I treat people with genuine love my mind and outlook on things are different and how I carry my self and always lead by example and to create heaven on earth
What matters most to you?
Family and because family is everything with out it it’s nothing they are people you don’t choose they always there when you need them and respect is second
