Daily Inspiration: Meet Libby Rafada-Switzer Garrett

Today we’d like to introduce you to Libby Rafada-Switzer Garrett.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
From a young age, I’ve been surrounded by music and art. Growing up in a half-Filipino half- American household had me singing my heart out before speaking full sentences. My love of singing quickly grew into writing songs and trying to play them with my high school garage band at 16 years old. In 2017, I went on to study Entertainment Industry Studies at Mississippi’s Delta State University DMI (Delta Music Institute) Program where I continued to perform and expand my knowledge of the music industry.

After spending several years where America’s music was born, in 2022, I took the leap to move to Nashville to continue chasing my music dreams on a grander scale. I spent 3 ½ years working at CSM Management where I witnessed the behind-the-scenes business of the world’s most legendary acts such as Def Leppard, Stevie Nicks, Jeff Lynne’s ELO, Lenny Kravitz, Chris Isaak, and more. As I learned more about the management side of the music industry, I also had the opportunity to dive into my love for graphic design and digital marketing which led me to my most recent endeavor.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s never a completely smooth road. I believe most things in life and especially the music industry are trial and error, communication, and remaining teachable. Those are all lessons I’ve had to focus on over the past several years – everything is a lesson.

Throughout my professional career, I’ve always poured myself into each job, maybe too much at times. Whether this resulted in me making an impulsive decision that a supervisor didn’t agree with, or became burnt out on something I loved, it taught me that patience and communication are imperative in the professional world. It’s okay not to know the answer, and nine times out of ten, there is someone out there that is more than excited to help guide and collaborate with you. It takes a village.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
In March 2026, I launched Liberoni Creative to pursue my passion for creative direction, graphic design, and digital marketing in the music industry. My focus is collaborating with musicians to build a unique world for their fans to live in by fine tuning their visual, digital and marketing footprint. Whether we are preparing for an album rollout, a tour announce, or simply increasing social media engagement, Liberoni Creative is here to help each artist stand out and connect with old and new fans even beyond the music.

One of my greatest moments so far was creating Def Leppard’s cover art for their 2025 single release, “Stand By Me.” I’ve also had the opportunity to create the lyric visualizer for their 2026 single, “Rejoice” as well as their backstage passes and tour signage for the past two years. These projects helped me gain the confidence to launch Liberoni Creative to continue projects like this for other musicians.

I’m currently working with Taylor McCall, Candlebox, American Blonde Band, and more on a wide range of projects and I can’t wait for the world to see what we have going on.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
I grew up with a family who loved music and parents who always supported my dreams, so there are truly so many great memories. We did a lot of karaoke. My earliest memory of that was singing “What Dreams Are Made Of” on the Disney Cruise with my mom. I don’t think I’d be where I am today without that moment, truly.
