Daily Inspiration: Meet Logan Sanders

Today we’d like to introduce you to Logan Sanders.

Hi Logan, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Ever since I was a toddler, I have had a passion for rock and country music. Music has always been my getaway from life problems. I grew up in the small town of Whitwell, Tennessee with the larger-than-life dream of being a musician.

At the age of eight, my grandfather passed away from cancer and I started having anxiety problems that I still battle with to this day. After his passing, I put all of my problems into my music and started learning how to play the bass guitar. I then proceeded to learn the electric guitar, drums, piano, six-string banjo, and even some harmonica.

In 2020, I was contacted by music producer, Sheri Thrower, to come to Nashville to follow my dream of being a country recording artist. In 2021, I released my first single, Comin’ Home, a cover of Keith Urban’s Coming Home at Daniel Dennis’s PrimeCut Studio.

Comin’ Home by Logan Sanders is available on all streaming services. At the beginning of 2022, I began writing my first original song, Wherever These Boots Take Me, and it will be released to all streaming services on July 2, 2022. I am now enrolled at Belmont University with a major in Music Business.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I started playing in a band called Rock Skool Chattanooga, we played many gigs in Tennessee and Georgia, and I even got the chance to play before my favorite rock star, Bret Michaels, at the Riverbend Music Festival in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Everything was going smoothly until the pandemic hit. All live shows were canceled, I couldn’t rehearse with my bandmates, and everything felt like it was falling apart. When the lockdowns eased up, I hit the ground running to Nashville to record with my producer, Sheri Thrower, and engineer, Daniel Dennis.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a country artist who sings and is a multi-instrumentalist but specializes in electric and acoustic guitar.

I’m most proud of my upcoming release, Wherever These Boots Take Me, last July 2, 2022. What sets me apart from others is my unique voice and my country/rock blend. Some could describe my music as Jason Aldean meets Def Leppard or George Strait meets Aerosmith.

Country music and Rock-and-Roll are where my heart’s at. I love them both and I love mixing them together to create something special.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
The endless amount of love and support that I receive just blows my mind and never ceases to amaze me. I never thought that I would find myself living my dreams, and I owe it all to God and to everyone who has believed in me.

I’m beyond blessed and grateful for every opportunity that I get.
