Daily Inspiration: Meet Mili Repetto

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mili Repetto

Hi Mili, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Hello everyone! I’m Mili Repetto, a motorsports enthusiast since I was young. My passion for racing was passed down by my father, who was fortunate enough to work with the legendary Juan Manuel Fangio. My love for motorsports started with Formula 1, spending Sundays watching Schumacher race while wearing my Ferrari gear and listening to CDs of F1 engine sounds.

As I grew older, that passion stayed with me, and after finishing school, I decided to study sports journalism. I worked as a journalist on an Argentine TV program covering Formula 1, and later, I began analyzing and covering races through my social media channels.

In 2022, I came to the United States to cover the Miami Grand Prix, followed by the Indy 500. Shortly after, I joined Juncos Hollinger Racing as Brand and Social Media Manager. I’m truly happy and passionate about what I do.

As Fangio once said, “You need great passion, because everything you do with great pleasure, you do well.” This quote has always inspired me to keep pushing, to stay humble, and to continue growing in this industry. The best kind of work is the one that fills you with so much passion that you wouldn’t stop for a second, and that’s exactly how I feel. This is who I am.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s never easy to reach any goal or dream, but I believe the key is to stay focused and never, ever give up. Perseverance is a word that defines me, and without a doubt, I keep pushing forward and trying as many times as needed until I reach where I want to be. The motorsports world isn’t an easy one, but it’s definitely where I feel I belong, and it’s the place where I hope to leave a lasting mark.

Being a woman in this industry means a lot, and above all, it fills me with pride. I carry a quote from Senna with me that I live by: “If a person has no dreams, they have no reason to live. Dreaming is necessary, even when the dream goes beyond reality. For me, dreaming is one of the principles of life.”

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Juncos Hollinger Racing opened the doors for me to the world of IndyCar and gave me the chance to work with a top-tier racing team, something I had never experienced before. For that, I will always be incredibly grateful for having joined this team. My role consists of managing all the team’s social media, generating content, and creating creative marketing campaigns for events like the Indy 500. I’m also responsible for the team’s image, branding, designing the cars, team uniforms, and ensuring everything looks its best and reflects our style.

The word that best defines me in my work is creativity, and I use it daily. Creativity is the key to marketing. One project that stands out for me is the 2023 Indy 500 car we designed in honor of the World Cup-winning Argentina football team. This car was very special to me—it was my first major project, and I’m very proud of it.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
The word “success” carries a lot of meaning, and it’s very difficult to fully achieve it in its entirety. I believe it’s built through a series of actions and efforts, accompanied by a lot of sacrifice and time, all of which contribute to the outcome we call success. In my experience, success is difficult to attain, whether it’s in life, in a race, or in a professional career. It requires significant sacrifice and hard work to get closer to it.

I still have a long way to go, and I know this is only the beginning, but without a doubt, I am in pursuit of success, and it motivates me every single day.
