Daily Inspiration: Meet Morgan Jones

Today we’d like to introduce you to Morgan Jones. 

Hi Morgan, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hello, my name is Morgan Jones. Somehow, I have been gifted with the ability to be dynamic in my passion pursuits, which allows me to wear many hats. For someone like me, it is difficult to focus on one career path or just one hobby/side hustle. I feel like my purpose through life is not totally defined yet. I am a people person, I love conversating with others. This quality of mine, among many others has lead me into a life of being more of an entrepreneurial type of worker. I have dreams in music, so I have been a Disc Jockey for over 12 years. My music artist name is Mojo Le Fay. I have produced dance music songs as well, with having 4 songs released and 2 more to be released this year in 2022. I also am a writer and I am planning on publishing a book of poems within the next few years. A passion pursuit of mine also is working with gemstones and crystal jewelry. I have my own company called Gemstone Vibes where I vend my rocks at local venues and events. My main career now is building a really rewarding and helpful insurance business called Grace Stone Insurance. I am currently a part of the fastest-growing independent insurance agency in the country that is called Freedom and Faith Agency. These are just a few things I am trying to accomplish with forward success over the next 3-5 years. 

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I feel like our path and struggles, are truly a product of the decisions that we make along the journey through this life. The whole human experience is a full range of emotions, actions, inactions, and time. The cool thing is we get to chose our “hard”. To become successful or wealthy is difficult, but so is not being able to pay the bills or feed your family. I am starting to truly wrap my mind around the bigger picture. I am going to be way more financially sound within the next 10 years, so working hard and staying focused is how I can set up a smoother sailing future. I think a lot of the “struggle” first comes from not knowing exactly what we’re supposed to be doing here on earth. It has been said by many of successful people that your greatness doesn’t happen overnight. So, in terms of being a smooth road, well I am just now becoming more consistent in my approach to life. I have struggled in the past of course with mindset, toxic relations, ego, misguidance, & feelings of loss or depression, but I kept going. The struggles have definitely been a factor, but as I get older, I realize the struggle I face is within myself. If I change my internal habits, then my outside world starts to flow easier. I think the struggle is needed because so much growth within the complex of our character is defined along the way. This is a long, brutal but exciting and beautiful experience. The one thing I do know is that a having positive mindset and building faith in your ability or skill sets will help you achieve more than you can even imagine. 

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Everything I do and all the creative avenues that I am invested in are all super unique. In essence, I am a walking, talking niche. My whole philosophy over the last few years is just been trying to merge all my worlds, or passions together in one big conglomerate that I call my life. My music is specialized, it’s not popular, rock or country style. It’s dance music with my own twist. I also spin real vinyl records on technic turntables, which not many 32-year-old females do in the world today. I am also very creative with words. I have a natural lyrical ability with poetry and song lyrics. I wasn’t blessed with the ability to sing but I have hundreds of notebooks and recorded audio of my raps and rhymes. As far as my gemstones and crystal jewelry creations, I am definitely the gemstone queen here in Charlotte, NC. I make cute, unique, and affordable gemstone creations that are one of a kind. I eventually would love to have a travel blog where I am like “Mojo the explorer” and I explore mineral mines and hunt for gems. I think I am most known for in Charlotte, NC as being a cool person, a good DJ, and someone who’s very likable. I think people know by now that I am a dream chaser/go-getter type. The new business career, my insurance business is also doing well. This is truly the grit and hustle for any entrepreneur, but I love it because I enjoy helping people. I think that this is what sets me apart from others. In my experience, I have found myself to have a true love and care for others. I have a genuine nature that strives to bring a good fortune, to help lift the spirit up on a bad day, and to definitely does not judge a book by its cover. My strength comes from an internal knowing of what love isn’t. So, with my every intention, it is my “calling” to bring the good energy and love into the space. I am most proud of my willingness to learn, grow and become a better version of myself. 

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Well, this is a loaded question. I am here to say this, I have learned countless of important lessons along the way. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t learn something new about myself, or about how to handle certain situations. I think it’s a long journey full of steps we take to become the person we want to be. I have always had a vision of greatness for myself, I always knew I would be someone special. They say, if you are never noticed then you don’t exist, and all we need in this life is for just one person to notice us. We should learn to realize how much each of us truly matter, how important each of us are. Everything and everyone is connected, the golden rule is how I truly live. We are all such valuable beings, but our choices do makeup how we end up, or who we end up becoming. The biggest lesson I have learned is to love myself fully. I think the whole human experience is to find your way back to love. We are tested by this life, and we go through such pain and misery. Many of us have suffered a great deal of abuse starting from such a young age. So much so, that we lose our sense of self, and many of us have never been really loved before. If you have experienced real unconditional love, then you have been blessed. I think the whole point of life is to go through the suffering, then learn how it feels to really be alive as we heal through our trauma. I believe we go through horrible heartbreaks, to learn self-value. I believe everything happens for a reason, the good, bad, and the ugly. Learning to love yourself, forgive yourself, and learning to love and forgive others is the greatest lesson I have learned so far.
