Daily Inspiration: Meet Philip Foresto

Today we’d like to introduce you to Philip Foresto.

Hi Philip, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started doing hair 12 years ago while living in New Orleans! I have been a Redken Brand Ambassador for 3 years and travel the world teaching my signature balayage technique “Expensive Hair Education”. In April, I moved my family to Nashville and we opened Salon ICON on Music Row in August!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been fairly smooth?
It’s definitely been a ride! I grew up from very humble beginnings and worked extremely hard to be where I am at today! I wouldn’t change it for the world! Growing up with many struggles has allowed me to show others that anything is possible.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am known in the hair and social media fields for my blonding techniques! I specialize in balayage and lived in color.

I am most proud of being nominated two years in a row for Hair Colorist of the Year by the American Influencer Awards.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you, or support you?
I love collaborating with other stylists or artists in the beauty industry! Walking around Nashville I’m not afraid to walk up to someone and ask if I can do their hair!
