Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryan Bronson.
Ryan, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Ryan Bronson is an independent artist blending hip-hop roots with the massive hooks, guitars, and nostalgia of ’80s and early-2000s rock. His music lives somewhere between rap records, stadium anthems, and the songs you’d hear blasting through the speakers on a late-night drive.
With more than **300 songs released** and **millions of streams**, Bronson has built his career independently, developing a catalog centered around nostalgia, relationships, mental health, growing older, and trying to hold onto the moments that disappear too quickly.
His 2026 album ***Summer Never Lasts*** pushed that sound further, combining hip-hop production with soaring rock influences and cinematic, nostalgic songwriting. The album reached **#4 on the iTunes Hip-Hop Albums chart**, led by songs including **“We’re Not Going Home Tonight,” “80s Movies,” “Reset,”** and **“Darkness.”**
Bronson has also shared stages with artists including **Wiz Khalifa, Shwayze, Mod Sun, Chris Webby,** and **Mike.** Rather than staying inside one genre, his catalog has continued to evolve around a simple idea: make music that feels familiar without sounding like everything else.
For Ryan Bronson, every record is another piece of the story — the good years, the bad decisions, the people who stayed, the people who left, and the nights you wish could last forever.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
absolutely not. this is year 15 on my music journey. there is peaks and valleys every step of the way.
But if you love it, its worth it
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a songwriter and recording artist, who takes a lot of pride in honest and raw storytelling, clever word play and blending genres and eras. I think thats what sets me apart. I am a student of the game in hip hop, but I’m a student of the art form when it comes to all genres. My generation was the first generation with iPods and mp3 players. Our playlists went from Eminem to Green Day to Rihanna to Blink-182 to Jay-Z. Those influences were sure to seep in somewhere so my music taste and sound selection is all over the place but the storytelling and delivery is authentically me
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
don’t be afraid to make mistakes and don’t be afraid to be told no.
you will release bad songs. you’ll release bad videos. thats fine. no one starts out a legend. it takes 10,000 hours and then some. if you hit 3 out of 10 in baseball you’re a hall of famer. The best of all time in music drop 10 to 20 albums with a handful of hits on each. Just make what sounds good to you. don’t impersonate anyone, dont try to be anyone else. just be yourself and your sound, your vibe and your audience will all come together.
