Daily Inspiration: Meet Scarlet Paolicchi

Today we’d like to introduce you to Scarlet Paolicchi.

Hi Scarlet, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my blog a little over 10 years ago as a fun way to interact with other moms and share family resources from parenting to recipes to crafts. I enjoyed having a creative outlet as well as something that was flexible so I could work around my children’s schedules. My blog has continued to grow each year and so has my social media presence. I have had so many amazing opportunities and gotten to meet so many great people. I also just published my fourth book!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been a pretty smooth road. The biggest struggle was just starting out and hoping that someone was reading what I was writing! It is also a continuous road of learning and growing because blogging changes constantly from blog platform updates to new social media to different reader and sponsor patterns. There is always a lot to keep up with and improve.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I run a blog which is basically an online magazine. So, like a magazine, I work on creating a lot of content that will interest my readers. I also work on projects from family-friendly sponsors that would like to share their products with my readers. I figure out these products resonate with my family and I and share how they are helpful to us. I am always producing new content and I have a search bar so that readers can find information on whatever topic they are interested in whether it is “potty training” to “chicken recipes” to “crafts for kids”.

I am most proud of sharing my personal stories to connect with other mothers as well as sourcing experts to share in-depth information about topics of interest.

What’s next?
I am just taking this one step at a time right now. I am planning to keep doing what I am doing while my kids get through school. I don’t foresee any big changes but I am always open to new experiences and I will continue sharing those on my blog.
