Daily Inspiration: Meet Zachary Pope

Today we’d like to introduce you to Zachary Pope.

Zachary, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I am a husband and father of four, originally from the Bordeaux area of Nashville, Tennessee. I come from a family of pillars in the community. There’s a lot of history behind the names I was given. Attempting to make my own name for myself, I thought I try my hand at fashion and I started a line of neckties. After struggling to receive the support I needed to stay in business, I started talking to other business owners with similar struggles. From there, I discovered a need for a platform for people like me to reach their target audiences. Thus, I became the platform, MassCtv, to help connect businesses to their community.

Banning together with talented individuals, my goal was to allow those with talent, great ideas, and skills to be heard, seen and appreciated. We went from one interview to many, and one podcast to 5 podcasts and a web series. We covered events such as Black Honors, and The Kickback with special guests Shannon Sanders and Louis and York, and we’ve been blessed to be a first home to influencers like Josh Black, AC Noel, Candy Coated AB, and Whitney Davis. Honestly, where I am now feels like just the beginning.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Absolutely not. Balancing life while trying to build something is the biggest obstacle because life doesn’t go on pause while you pull yourself together.

There’s nothing specific making it more difficult beyond my patience with myself. But truthfully, I liked to think I was the one constructing the road. So, I’m not expecting my path to be easy because I feel like I’m building a path for others.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a hands-on Producer, to give myself a title, but I do a little bit of everything. I film, I edit, I write, I cast, and even act occasionally.

Simply put I bring creatives together who are like-minded and want to win together. I’m probably most known for my ability to draw people in and bring out the best of them. If I see IT in you, I will make you see it too.

What do you think about happiness?
The Lord! God gives me all the joy I need. He passes his love through my family, along with his warm embrace and he shows me the good in me through the people I touch on the way to success.

I get a win every time, one of my team members excels when I get up and get excited shoot. That means it’s working and they feel it. That’s where my joy comes from.
