Daily Inspiration: Meet Zelena Hull

Today we’d like to introduce you to Zelena Hull.

Zelena, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My largest project I’m currently working on is called single of the week. When I was studying for my bachelor’s in contemporary music, I decided to develop my skills further by pushing myself to create and distribute a full scale release every week. I’ve been releasing a fully original song every Friday in which I composed, wrote, recorded, and played each instrument/synth myself. It’s been a wild ride that has forced me to go out of the box.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
One of the biggest struggles was a technicality that occurred. It took nearly a year to get the guidelines for the official world record for the most consecutively released singles. Apparently, each song had to be over 2 minutes and that means nearly 40 to 60 songs that I’ve created and produced don’t count towards the record. I’m at 213 songs unofficially. I think it’s more in the 160s officially.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a musician and I create work in various genres including classical, rock, blues, alternative, and more. I love to experiment and I would say that my catalog is like a box of chocolates.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
The best way to support me is to stream my music pretty much anywhere you’d like to listen. I focus the most on Spotify, YouTube, Amazon, and Apple streaming. Additionally, my songs are available for purchase through iTunes as well. Although, I have social media, I don’t go on it very often.
