Daylan Langford’s Stories, Lessons & Insights

Daylan Langford shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Hi Daylan, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
We are bounding with joy in my household right now, because my daughter Alissa is in her third trimester. My wife Marianne and I are so looking forward to Dec. 2025 to meet our very first Grandchild named Keeon.
We have toys, clothing, furniture…. and of course, miniature tools so he can come to work with Grandpa.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Daylan Langford my business is DAYLAN’S DESIGNS. I specialize in architectural structural signage projects. I offer turn-key Design-permit-build-services to local, national and international companies investing in real estate in Tennessee. I have had the pleasure to collaborate with and worked with many local municipality, landscape architect, engineering companies, property management companies, and even private estates and Homeowner associations.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
HA! Ok you asked for it
As a person that builds things and has always built things and believes in math, science and physics. On September 11, 2001 multiple buildings fell ‘’into the path of most resistance’’ . THAT IS PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE.
The government told us airplanes hit two buildings and caused three buildings to collapse.
As the adults and news tried to tell me that this was a terrorist attack from a foreign group. It was extremely clear to me that this was a planned attack from within our own government. Because the math just doesn’t add up….
That event and subsequent events I’ve shaped my world view to distrust the official narrative and to stick to the math. Trust the math, not the politicians kids.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Set your goals higher NOW because you can and will achieve everything you conceive.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
Ron Paul this man has never had very much political power, but he has had the power of truth. Our government and our people really could have benefited from having a reasonable man in office. He understands perpetual war and wasteful spending is not a good thing. In 2008 the national debt was $9.65 Trillion…..today 37.89 Trillion #ronpaulwasright

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
They will most likely believe I had a Company to make money. I have this business to live out my dreams of building and making things that are useful and used every single day for decade upon decade. (Plus in the year 3045 the new uprising civilization will be digging through the ancient ruins only to find my everlasting stonework -as the scholars of the day propose that these were ritual sites. lol)
