Exploring Life & Business with Abrielle Herb of Abrielle Says

Today we’d like to introduce you to Abrielle Herb.

Hi Abrielle, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Growing up in sunny Scottsdale, Arizona in a tight-knit family with a dad who was a professional painter and a mom who loved to cook and scrapbook, creativity and expression were always welcomed and encouraged. For as long as I can remember, I knew I wanted to be successful in either broadcast or the beauty industry, and lucky for me, my career now entails both.

It all started when I went to Arizona State University and got my B.S. in Communication with, a minor in media analysis at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism (Go Sun Devils!). My first gig in college was to manage in-game social media feeds for the Arizona Rattlers arena football and it was there that I knew I was heading in the right direction of my dreams.

Shortly after, I got my foot in the door at iHeartMedia as a promotion coordinator then quickly jumped into the role of executive producer/co-host of a News Talk drive-time show in the valley. In addition to that, I co-hosted a weekend country radio show on 102.5 KNIX and focused my time on filming tease videos before each show, which led me to a true passion: TV.

Without a whole lot of camera experience, but a whole lot of pep talks, I found myself co-hosting a live morning show on AZTV for a couple of years. From there, I jumped into the public relations side of media and went on to run a wide variety of client social media accounts. Throughout ten short, but packed years, I had officially been on all sides of media, but something was still missing. Enter: my blog, brand, and social media management company, Abrielle Says.

Abrielle Says, was born out of a desire to have a creative space that was all my own and could cover a variety of topics including hair tips, makeup, fashion, home décor, DIYs, and more. Although I had worked on my blog and social media management company as a side hustle throughout my entire career path, it wasn’t until recently I decided to focus my energy on it full time.

Since making this shift, I have learned how much I truly enjoy creating content and connecting with others through social media, and hope to do this for many years to come!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have definitely been some obstacles along the way.

I can’t tell you how many times throughout my career that things didn’t go the way I wanted them to. But those unexpected twists and turns are where growth happens, and I wouldn’t change my path for anything because it has brought me to where I am today.

I think oftentimes we are scared to pivot, but if you don’t find joy in what you are doing on a daily basis, it is never too late to go in a new direction. Learning to recognize what makes you happy, overcoming the fear of the unknown, and letting go of what other people think is where true joy is found.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Abrielle Says?
I am a full-time blogger, content creator, and social media manager. I work with beauty, fashion, and health brands to create content on my own social media channels as well as with a wide variety of clients and organizations to help them kick up their presence on social media through both consultations and full-time social media management.

I think what sets me apart from others is that I have had a long career covering all sides of media from a radio broadcast, to live TV, to producing, to media training, to pitching, to managing social media, and so on. All of these experiences have given me a deep understanding of media as a whole and ultimately, how to connect with a variety of audiences.

When I am not sitting at my computer or exploring new foodie spots, I am probably at a baseball game!

My husband, Tyler, is a pitcher in the Brewers organization and that is what brought us to the beautiful Nashville, Tennessee! We have moved more times than I can count, hence the moving tips on my blog, but I have always felt drawn to Nashville, so hopefully we can stay here for a while.

We also have two pups, Samantha, a golden retriever, and Piper, a toy poodle.
