Today we’d like to introduce you to Claritha Henderson
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Chic Creationz and Treats started as a creative outlet in Spring 2013 during my travel pharmacy days when I was bored between job assignments. I started actually selling my gift baskets and gourmet infused and specialty cupcakes in February 2015. As my clientele increased, I transitioned into creating cookies, gourmet popcorn, cocktails, and more of my various menu items. The initial goal was never to be more than a creative outlet to share with those who chose to support me, but I’ve been hired to do all sorts of creative things over the years and feel blessed by every opportunity that has ever been presented to me.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My struggles along the way are staying consistent and motivated. I’m passionate about the things that I do, but like most creatives, sometimes the creative energy escapes us.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My niche is incorporating different infusions into my various menu items. I am most proud of being known for thinking outside of the box with my customized specialty and infused foods. I sincerely appreciate all of my “Cupcake Sweeties” who have allowed me to serve them over the years and look forward to serving more in the future.
