Hello Connect Nashville Business Networking please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Since its inception in June 2017, the purpose of the Connect Nashville community has been all about relationships and helping one another grow their business through the power of connections which lead to referrals. By being able to provide a relaxed and supportive environment for business professionals to grow their business, Connect Nashville has flourished into being one of the strongest options for networking in the Greater Nashville area.

We now have meetings every single day of the week held in different areas of town such as Mt. Juliet, Murfreesboro, Hendersonville, Lenox Village, Cool Springs, East Nashville, and Spring Hill and we have a virtual meeting as well. All meetings are always free to attend.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Being a community that meets in person almost every day of the week, when Covid hit, this was a challenge for us, but during that time we held 3 Zoom meetings a week and focused on our Facebook community group to continue to keep people connected.

Another obstacle we sometimes see is people think there is some type of catch with our meetings. There is no catch; all of our meetings are free to attend, always. We truly believe in having a strong culture of everyone wanting to genuinely connect and help one another without judgment or pressure.

We’ve been impressed with Connect Nashville Business Networking, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Connect Nashville is a community of business professionals who focus on strengthening relationships and helping one another grow their businesses through the power of connections. Free open networking meetings are held weekly throughout the Greater Nashville area. Meetings are not member-based or seat-specific, and you can attend any meetings as many times as you would like.

Connect Nashville takes networking meetings to the next level by continuing the exposure online. After each meeting, a post is created in the Facebook Group listing everyone present and exactly what they need to grow their business so the community as a whole can come together and help each other.

We also hold Beers and Business Happy Hour events in the evening throughout the year and see 150-200 business professionals networking and getting connected.

How do you define success?
We started Connect Nashville because we saw a real need in the networking community for authenticity and heart. We truly believe that if we can help people connect without wanting something immediate for ourselves, and we just genuinely want to see other people grow.

The water level will rise and we will all do better together. We care about people and we want to see them connect, and that is what we consider success in the Connect Nashville community.
