Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Keller.
Hi Jennifer, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve been an entrepreneur for 16 years now in the insurance space, my agency predominantly represents Aflac. We are also an enrollment arm for our broker partners. We are in the people business and help our clients protect themselves from financial ruin. In this post-pandemic environment, our services are helping employers stay competitive by having solutions that actually aid in attracting and retaining employees.
Along with running this business that I love, I’m a wife, a mother, and a community leader. Red Bird Press bloomed at a time in my life when God stopped my hamster wheel and heavily guided me to become present. He lead me on a faith journey that changed my whole life. All from a desire deep in my heart to master the much-needed Work|Life Integration.
Prior to Red Bird Press, I was living for the accolades, the achievement, and filling my time with work work work. I would tell myself this is all from a good place and I’m just trying to help as many people as I can and provide for my family. This was true, but I was missing the opportunity to allocate my time and be present with those who mean the most.
The reality is we can work as hard as we want and all the hours out there but if our hearts, minds, and souls are in the right place we’ll never reach our potential.
Starting Red Bird Press and creating Project YOU is all a God thing!!
Project YOU is a 90-day routine guide that supports unlocking your potential by guiding you daily through spiritual and scientific practices that compound for YOU! Allowing you to step into your best version. Project YOU aids you in tracking habits, organizing your days, making space for daily devotion, gratitude practices, confidence statements, prioritizing your day, and ensuring you’re staying hydrated & moving your body!
We are just over 1 year in and have already heard the stories of how this book is making all the difference. As the founder and creator, I use the book daily and have seen the life-changing differences and I’m passionate about helping others live at their best, every day.
My hope is that Project YOU will bring people closer to who they were created to be. Allowing them space to connect with God and their true potential.
We launched a male version in February 2023, Project HIM. We’ve hosted 2 women’s empowerment conferences, and started our workshop seriously around Work | Life Integration and sustainment in March.
We are on a mission to blaze a trail that brings people closer to who they were created to be and want to empower our clients and community to be their best version, not just sometimes, but every day.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Smooth.. is there a such thing when launching a business?
It has not been. Coming from my business background am supported by a Fortune 120 company, Aflac, with all the tech, marketing, and business platforms I’ve needed I had to really get uncomfortable and be new again. I had to learn webpage design and lots of things on page design in an industry, I was completely unfamiliar with. I was blessed to find strong and amazing women early on with who I’ve worked very closely in the process.
When you develop a product you have to know all the pricing, in this case, measurements and paper quality, and printing needs.
I had to be able to find others that could help me take my chicken scratch from my pink notebook paper and get it into digital format.
I had an idea that some didn’t understand and I had to build the messaging. It’s not a fancy notebook –
Also, I had to find a way to get my book out there. So tackling social media, and community partnerships.
Sharing the mission has always come easy to me. But putting my story in a format that was simple and got the value across was something I’ve honed over time.
When a business is a calling and something that you know will change lives you’re passionate and eager!
There were those who doubted me and even criticized me. My journey is so much deeper than this business process. I’ve lived and endured much tragedy and trauma and my faith journey has and is helping me heal and process. Project YOU is the guide! God sent me through the healing process which was the hardest part of all of this in order to be of service to others!
Service to those healing or in need of
Service to those on the hamster wheel of business and life
Service to those who are really in need of rooting their lives in HIM
Service to those who desire peace and joy in their days
Service to those who want to unlock their potential and honor their gifts and live their best lives, every day.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Red Bird Press?

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
As we embark on the post-pandemic era mental health, faith pursuits, and personal development are at the forefront of people and businesses. People who have lived through trauma and tragedy need resources. Businesses need resource programming. Churches need programming and resources.
