Exploring Life & Business with Kaley Thompson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaley Thompson.

Hi Kaley, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I grew up in a small town in Kentucky. I didn’t realize what the world had to offer until I moved away and was presented with many opportunities. I graduated college with a nursing degree and immediately started working in the Critical Care unit at a large downtown hospital in Nashville. I have always loved helping others but disliked working for a corporation that did not even know your name.

After almost 4 years in the hospital setting and working through a pandemic, I was burnt out, physically and mentally. I love to travel, so I assumed my next best option was to take a couple of travel nursing assignments to help “heal” the burnout. That did not seem to help so I then switched to Aesthetic Nursing. I loved everything about the job, however, I was still stuck in the same spot where I was working for a corporation that was only money hungry. I decided to finally do something for myself.

I switched to real estate. I love the fact that I am able to work for myself and get out what I put into my business. I am still able to help others, but in different ways than nursing. Real estate is great and has opened up many doors to my future since I started. Currently, I am working on my next project. I am opening my own Med Spa in August 2022.

I am very excited that I will get to change all the things that I disliked about a corporation and turn those negatives into positives. Instead of worrying about squeezing multiple patients into an hour to hit treatment counts, I am happy I get to actually connect with each person individually and have a better connection within the community.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Five years ago, I would never believe where I am today. Some days, I felt I was at a standstill and my life would never change.

Seeing many individuals take their last breath and tell their family members that their loved one has passed away gets very depressing. I was very unhappy at times but that only gave me more motivation to make a change. All of the baby steps and hard work have led me to where I am today.

When you start listening to your body, your faith, and doing what you love, everything else will fall in place. I know I have a long way to go, but I am very excited to see what the future has to offer.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am a residential Real Estate Agent. I help buyers, sellers, and investors in the Nashville area.

I am a Gulch Condo Specialist, however, I am never too busy to help anyone! I love to help people make the most of their money, while still getting exactly what they want. Going from critical care nursing to helping people make happy decisions, I understand that life is too short so while we are here, I want to help you make the most of it!

I am opening a Med Spa in August 2022! I am super excited about this journey. I will offer botox, filler, facials, IV hydration, and much more. It is located in Brentwood and there is more information to come. I am basing everything on holistic care. We want to treat your mind, body, and spirit.

Without confidence and feeling good about yourself, our services will do nothing for you. We want this space to be about feeling good and not just looking good. The first step in everything is to feel good and then everything else will come along. We want to connect with the community and this to be a safe space for all!
