Today we’d like to introduce you to Lauren Bronson Petrous.

Hi Lauren, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.

My journey into leadership consulting stems from a passion and commitment to empower mission-driven leaders—those who are deeply invested in the vision, mission, and values they champion. Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of working in both corporate and not-for-profit settings with esteemed organizations such as Hilton, Flagstar, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Habitat for Humanity Detroit, Saint Vincent de Paul, TogetherLA and Extreme Response. Along the way, my passion for people development and transforming organizational cultures led me to pursue a Master’s in Organizational Change from Northwestern University.

 

I’ve seen firsthand the remarkable impact leaders can have when they align their values with their leadership approach and how it drives both team collaboration, engagement, trust and overall – organizational success. At Boundless & Co., we help leaders build unified teams and navigate adversity through conflict resolution strategies. Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?

Has it been a smooth road? No way! Starting Boundless & Co., felt like leaping onto a moving train, completely unsure of where it was headed or whether I’d even hold on. There were sleepless nights where I questioned whether I was making the right decision (leaving my successful corporate career behind) —I had those 2 AM moments of panic, wondering if I dreamed too big or if I’d ever stand out in such a saturated market.

There were days where the judgement of others hit stronger, days where I felt like I was constantly swimming upstream—trying to build something from nothing and wearing too many hats. But in the midst of all of that – I had a relentless belief in the power of the work I was doing and the value it provided leaders and organizations. That was my fuel.

Every single one of those challenges taught me something invaluable. I learned to trust myself, to become friends with discomfort, and to keep going even when I wasn’t sure what the next step would look like. It deepened my passion for serving mission-driven leaders, because I know firsthand how difficult it can be to step into something bigger than yourself. Seeing these leaders thrive, knowing I played a part in their journey—it makes all the hard work, the doubts, and the late nights worth it. It’s been a vulnerable, unpredictable ride, but I wouldn’t change a thing.
