Exploring Life & Business with Lizzie Tucker of The Farm

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lizzie Tucker.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
In Castalian Springs,
Tennessee—just 45 minutes outside Nashville—The Farm
isn’t just a wellness escape. It’s a sanctuary built on purpose,

transformation, and second chances. Before reopening The Farm with our Head of Wellness, Aubrey Reese, Head of Hospitality, Robin Adams, and founding team, I was a frequent guest at what was then called Fit Farm. I came to Fit Farm during a vulnerable time. That experience changed
everything—I found community, structure, and strength.
Over two years, I came back more than 20 times.
When Fit Farm closed in November 2024, we couldn’t
let it go. In April 2025, we officially reopened the facility
as The Farm. We were
determined to preserve its unique energy and create a
space where others—whether burnt-out professionals, new
retirees, overwhelmed parents looking for a break, fitness
fanatics or girlfriends looking for a getaway—could reset and
reprioritize their lives. We reopened the doors to this life-changing
space not just to revive a business, but to protect a place that
once helped me and hundreds of others heal.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The reopening road has been relatively smooth. We are all so proud of the guest experience and the feedback from Fit Farm alumni and new guests alike has been great. New amenities, improved menus, community feel and the very talented team of wellness and hospitality professionals have been the highlights. The biggest struggle thus far has been acquiring new customers. Once people experience The Farm, they never look back, however getting new guests to join us is always difficult as with all new businesses. For July and August 2025, we are offering $75 day passes for Tennessee residents who have never visited The Farm and want to see what it’s all about. For local guests, day passes are a great way to experience The Farm. We offer them on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Included in the day pass experience: all programming, lunch and afternoon snack and access to the property from 9AM CT to 5PM CT. Day pass guests are welcome to use our pool, hot hub, sauna, spa spaces, along with all gym and recreational spaces.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Set in a tranquil and inspiring environment, The Farm is a
premier wellness travel destination offering customizable day passes, weekend, weeklong, and extended-stay retreats. Each stay is built around a powerful, integrative wellness approach that combines:
• Balanced, whole-food nutrition
• Inclusive and adaptive fitness programs
• Self-care, mindfulness, and restorative practices
Guests come from across the country and around the world to reset and recharge—and many return again and again. Tennessee locals often opt for a day pass option to dip their toe into the experience.
The Farm’s magic lies in the synergy of three core elements:
• The Place: A one-of-a-kind 200-acre retreat surrounded by rolling hills and open skies, just under an hour from the hustle and bustle of downtown Nashville.
• The People: A dedicated team including certified trainers, registered dietician, yoga instructor, and expert hospitality staff—working in unison to care for every guest like family.
• The Program: Highly personalized, The Farm’s wellness journey is designed to meet guests exactly where they are—whether just beginning or recommitting to a healthier lifestyle. Guests can enjoy a variety of daily activities designed to energize the body and soothe the soul—including hiking, HIIT classes, cardio, yoga, swimming, weight training, paddleboarding, bicycling, boxing, pickleball, and more.
