Hi Lois & Trevor, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Angel Senior Transitions really grew out of both our professional experience and our personal values. For over a decade, we’ve been helping families downsize as realtors, and along the way we saw just how emotional and overwhelming that process can be. It’s not just a move—it’s a major life transition, often happening during a difficult season for families.
Time and time again, we noticed the same problem: families couldn’t find a reliable, professional team to step in and handle the hard parts—the sorting, packing, coordinating, and setting everything up on the other side. That gap put a lot of stress on people who were already stretched thin.
From a faith and family perspective, we felt called to do something about that. We wanted to build a service that treats people with care, patience, and dignity—serving families the way we would want our own to be served.
So we created Angel Senior Transitions to come alongside families and carry that burden with them. Our goal is simple: to bring peace, order, and support into what can otherwise be a very overwhelming time.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Like any business, there’s always a learning curve—especially building something that depends so much on trust, logistics, and the right people.
One of the biggest challenges has been finding and building a team that brings not just a strong work ethic, but genuine care and compassion for families going through emotional transitions. That’s something we’re continually focused on—always looking to add the right people who share those values.
We’ve also had to develop systems that make a complex process feel simple and seamless for our clients. And like any startup, there’s uncertainty along the way, but our faith has been a steady anchor—keeping us grounded and focused on serving families well as we grow.

Angel Senior Transitions is a full-service downsizing and relocation company focused on helping seniors and their families navigate major life transitions with as little stress as possible. We handle everything from sorting and full packing, to coordinating the move and transportation, to unpacking, setting up, and thoughtfully arranging the new space so it truly feels like home from day one.
We also take care of what’s left behind—clearing out remaining contents with the goal of giving those items a new life through donations, recycling, and responsible disposal. Families don’t have to juggle multiple companies or figure out those details on their own—we manage the entire process.

What we appreciate most about this area is the sense of community. There’s a real care for people here, especially when it comes to supporting seniors and families through different stages of life. If there’s a challenge, it’s that many families aren’t aware of the resources available to help them through downsizing and moving. Often, they take on everything themselves because they don’t realize there are professional services that can step in and ease that burden.
