Nude Dude Food was founded by longtime best friends Ryan Van Voorhis and Seth Bradley. Born and raised in the midwest, this friend/chef duo always had a knack for entertaining friends and family around the dinner table and in the kitchen.

Burned out from former careers outside the culinary realm, the duo turned to their passion, feeding friends in their own kitchen/backyard. Flash forward and Nude Dude Food was born in 2017. Originally based out of Chicago, the pair started hosting private dinner parties, bachelorette parties, and corporate events.

The focus of these events was providing multi-course meals using fresh seasonal produce and ingredients from the city they were hired to cook in.

A clever spin to reinforce the thought that dieting should not be restrictive, but enjoyed was the chefs would cook shirtless in aprons (and pants) embodying a sign of health and wellness for their clients, Shirtless chefs paired with multi-course meals served in your own home was a recipe for success, and Nude Dude Food Nashville was born in 22′.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Changing careers is never easy, but Seth and Ryan were determined to follow their passion and not let anything stop them from succeeding. The brand took off thanks to social media and a large supportive community.

Nude Dude Food has been hired to cook in over 20 states. The COVID pandemic severely affected small businesses worldwide, for PDF turned to their favorite course, sourdough bread. Nude Dude Food took over a closed restaurant space and began baking sourdough bread and giving it away to frontline workers and anyone in need during the pandemic.

They also found themselves with an abundance of sourdough starters, which they used in a pizza dough recipe that they also began giving away to the community. You can now find their pizza, which was featured on the Food Network’s show titled “Best Thing I Ever Ate,” at a bar in Wrigleyville called HVAC PUB.
