Exploring Life & Business with Sarah Moore of Sarah Moore Health

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Moore.

Hi Sarah, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started 15 years ago. I had been a personal trainer in college (although my degree is in the recording industry business) which had me thinking about the body more. I knew it wasn’t just about fitness the inside needed to be addressed. The mind and emotions needed to be addressed.

That guided me to Chinese herbal medicine. Cleansing/detox and superfoods.

Which is when I did my first colonic. It made sense to get the old deep stuff out before and while adding all the good stuff in. I didn’t think I would have a business as a colon therapist but as life happened. I was trained and knowing that I would be a good person to offer this to the masses I began.

It also worked well to grow my babies (now 13 and 15 years old) who I had at home and homeschooled. After my son was born, I went back to school for holistic nutrition. Since that time, I have grown a business that works one on one with clients to allow them to thrive the whole body. It’s not just about the food they put in their body.

It’s about understanding their whole life as an individual and then seeing how we can put all pieces together for true health.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Hahaha. Well, I am still doing what I love so it wasn’t a struggle so to speak. But it wasn’t smooth. I wanted things to happen faster of course.

I was raising two babies (at the time married) and growing a business also while still maintaining myself as a whole person, all the things I teach. So I would say the biggest hurdle at times was patience w myself. I really was growing as a person in many ways at the same time I was growing a business centered around helping others grow themselves.

So I had to be authentic and honest with myself to attract what I wanted in business and in my personal life for myself and my kids. That was “my” balance.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Holistic Nutritionist: Lifestyle and performance-based nutrition programs that allow my clients to thrive, body, mind, and spirit. This is done by understanding the individual as a whole and customizing programs that cleanse and detox the body while also making up for nutrient deficiencies.

The goal is that the lifestyle is created and my client is empowered and will not need me anymore, although I will miss them. I am able to work w clients anywhere in the world or locally in Nashville. My one-on-one clients have personal access to me on a regular basis and I’m there to make sure they have the accountability they desire and the information as they need it.

Colonics: This is irrigating the colon w 20 gallons of warm filtered water to remove waste, toxins, parasites, etc. it is done by me and I also have another therapist in the office I have mentored. The power behind this service is underrated and really works so perfectly with my nutrition programs.

It allows the client to get out of the old and also release stored emotions. It has taught me so much about people of all walks of life having clients on my table for 15 years. I see health and lifestyles in a different way than most.

I’m most proud of the name (mine) I have created. I hope when someone says Sarah Moore that it is received w a smile and positivity. My goal is to always leave someone better than they found me. Anyway, I can accomplish that I am going to do it. It’s a better world for all of us if we are all living to our fullest most abundant selves.

What sets me apart? I like to say I don’t attract bad people or things. I believe when we, you are ready to grow we receive what we need. If that is me I am honored and make sure I hold that to the highest. If it isn’t me then? I’m confident who someone chooses will guide them to that next place.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
Handle what’s in your control. I do not live in fear. I am a realist, keep all three of my eyes open and when things are off w me or my work I take the time to reflect on the way, then move forward w a solution and do the work.

Those same things had to apply here. Fear wasn’t going to solve anything. My favorite quote is “stay committed to your decisions yet flexible w your approach” this is applied in so many ways here.

Was it confusing and sad at times yes? It was all new. Overall, the year 2020 was really great for me. I learned to flow and trust the process way more and have taken those lessons moving forward.
