Hi Sariah, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hello! We’re Sariah and Aaron Glenn with Inflate Clarksville! Early in our relationship, my now-husband, Aaron, expressed interest in starting our own business. But after years of looking into a few different options, nothing we came across ever felt right. In 2021 we watched as White Castle Bouncers exploded throughout the country and immediately knew we needed to hop on this modern twist. When we heard that Inflate Forty-Eight was expanding its brand into other areas, we jumped at the opportunity, and everything immediately fell into place. So here we are- 4 years later, finally starting the business of our dreams, surrounded by the best in the business!

We officially opened our bookings in March of 2022 and have had such a great response that we’ve been able to expand our inventory from just 3 castles to 6! We now offer modern White + Colored Bounce Houses and Water Slides! It’s already been such a crazy ride, but we’re here for it every step of the way!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
If you talk to any small business owner long enough, you’ll learn that nothing ever comes without at least a little struggle. Besides learning to balance new responsibilities with old ones while raising a family with two little ones, I think one of our most difficult and unexpected challenges has been remembering not to tie our individual worth to our business and its overall success. As a business owner, you breathe so much life into every little thing you do that it can be easy to feel overwhelmed or disheartened that someone may not like what you have to offer or how you operate. I would have never considered myself a people pleaser, but when the success of your business rides on people liking you it can feel pretty heavy some days. People always say you learn so much about yourself that you didn’t know before once you become a parent, and I have to say that the same thing rings true with starting a business. It’s been both a challenge and a blessing, but I couldn’t be more grateful to be doing it with anyone else and in any other community.

Clarksville is truly one of a kind, filled with so many small business owners doing the dang thing, and we’re so grateful to be able to lean on other small businesses in times of need for support and wisdom. And of course, we couldn’t forget about our Inflate Family, which now has over 15 locations throughout the U.S., with one close neighbor nearby. Helllllo Inflate Nashville! Having and growing a support system has made all the difference as Aaron and I have adapted to being new business owners. We’re grateful for this new venture and for the opportunity our customers and community give us to be a part of their special days!
