We’re looking forward to introducing you to Heather Victorino. Check out our conversation below.
Good morning Heather, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
My mornings always start with my sweet dog, Melody Faith. We go for a walk together, and once we’re back, I make sure she’s fed and settled. Then I take a little time for myself — I write in my gratitude journal and spend about 30 minutes in morning devotionals and prayer. That quiet time is so important for grounding me before the day takes off. After that, I’ll make a protein shake, get ready, and head to the gym to start my day with a good workout. It’s my way of taking care of my mind, body, and spirit so I can show up as my best self.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Heather Victorino, a 7 time award winning country singer-songwriter. My music is rooted in heartfelt storytelling — real-life songs about faith, love, resilience, and the beauty of small-town values. My journey is unique because it’s been built completely from the ground up, going from small-town stages to national recognition while staying true to who I am. My brand blends modern country style with genuine authenticity, and my mission is to create music that not only entertains but also connects people in a meaningful way.
Right now, I’m working on my upcoming single, set to be released November 1st. It’s a surprise — so I’m keeping the song title under wraps for now — but I can share that it’s deeply personal and honors faith, family, and the men and women who serve our beautiful country. I also recently signed with new management at The Neon Row. My manager, Keren Blair, has been fantastic in helping me navigate some recent big moves in my music career and is truly taking my career to the next level. We have some very exciting things ahead, with big announcements and special news just around the corner — including tour dates that will be released soon.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My mom, without question. She knew I had something special long before I ever realized it. She’s always days I was singing before I could even talk, and she recognized early on that God had blessed me with the gift of music. She put me in voice lessons, encouraged me every step of the way, and truly nurtured my gift — not just musically, but personally. She helped me find my voice, both as an artist and as a person, before I even understood the depth of what that meant. Her belief in me laid the foundation for everything I’m doing today.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell her, “Sweet little Heather, you are the sun — and you are meant to shine like the brightest sun in the sky. God made you unique and special for a reason, so lean into that. The road ahead won’t always be easy, but every challenge will shape you into the strong, resilient woman you’re meant to be. Trust your gift. Trust God’s timing. Never stop singing. And always remember who you are and where you came from.”
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes — the public version of me is very much the real me. The “Country Music’s Sweetheart” isn’t a character I play; it’s just me, living out my calling. I truly love people, and I lead with kindness, faith, and heart whether I’m on stage, meeting fans, or just running errands around town.
That said, I’m also human. I have private moments, insecurities, and hard days that the public doesn’t always see. But I believe in being authentic, even in my struggles, and I hope that comes through in my music and how I connect with people. What you see in public — the love, the warmth, the passion — is exactly who I am at my core. The only difference is that, in private, I also give myself permission to rest, recharge, and just be Heather.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I’m absolutely doing what I was born to do. Music has been in me for as long as I can remember — it’s not just something I chose, it’s something God placed in my heart before I even knew it was there. I didn’t follow a path because someone told me to; I followed it because it’s who I am at my core. Singing, writing songs, and connecting with people through music feels as natural to me as breathing.
That said, I’ve been blessed with a family — especially my mom — who recognized that gift early on and encouraged me to nurture it. They never pushed me into it, but they gave me the tools, the belief, and the support I needed to step fully into my calling. Every time I step on stage, I know I’m exactly where I’m meant to be, doing the work I was created to do.
