Hidden Gems: Meet Abby Connolly of ARC&Co. Design LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Abby Connolly.

Hi Abby, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
ARC&Co. Design actually started back when I was a student at Belmont. After multiple internships I decided I wanted to try and build a design business of my own. One Christmas, I asked for a domain name so I could make it feel real. I didn’t know it at the time, but God was planting seeds for something bigger than I could’ve imagined.

After graduating, I worked as a designer at Ramsey Solutions on the EntreLeadership team, where I learned so much about strategy, business, and how to lead creative work with purpose. It was an incredible experience, but I kept feeling a nudge that it was time to step out in faith and build the business I had always dreamed of.

In 2024, I officially went full time with ARC&Co., and it’s been the most stretching and rewarding season. I now get to partner with entrepreneurs and boutique brands to build intentional branding and websites. It’s creative, it’s strategic, and it’s deeply personal to help people step confidently into what they’re called to do.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely has not been a smooth road, and I’m so thankful for that. We learn the most from trying, failing, and adjusting. If the road had been easy, I wouldn’t have gained the insight and growth this past year has brought me.

One of the biggest challenges has been doing it all while still trying to grow. As a solo founder, I’ve worn every hat: designer, project manager, copywriter, even accountant (and trust me, no one wants me doing their finances). But wearing all those hats has taught me so much about how a business actually runs, and it’s helped me grow both creatively and strategically.
At the same time, I’ve always prioritized a thoughtful, personalized experience for each client. That’s what makes ARC&Co. special. The challenge has been figuring out how to scale, whether through templates or productized offers, without losing that level of care. It’s a constant balancing act, but one that’s pushed me to build better systems, set clearer boundaries, and get really intentional about how I serve people well.

As you know, we’re big fans of ARC&Co. Design LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
ARC&Co. Design is a branding and website studio that helps entrepreneurs and boutique businesses show up with clarity and confidence. I specialize in custom brand identities, strategic websites, and semi-custom templates that blend creativity with purpose.

What makes ARC&Co. different is the mix of thoughtful design and practical systems. It’s not just about how it looks, but how it works and how it makes people feel. I care deeply about helping clients feel proud of their brand and equipped to use it well.

At the heart of it, ARC&Co. is about building brands with intention and giving clients the tools to grow something meaningful.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Plant seeds and trust roots.

Start small and don’t wait until everything is perfect. The best growth comes from simply beginning, even if it feels uncertain. Every step you take is a seed being planted, and over time, those small, consistent actions will lead to something meaningful.
Build systems early, even if they feel simple. They give your business the stability it needs to grow without constant overwhelm. And trust the work that’s happening beneath the surface. Roots take time to form, but they’re what keep everything steady when challenges come.

Most importantly, surround yourself with people who believe in your vision and speak encouragement when doubt creeps in. Entrepreneurship can feel lonely, but the right community makes all the difference.
