Hidden Gems: Meet Allison Parker of L&L Farm

Today we’d like to introduce you to Allison Parker.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Hey, I’m Allison and my why starts with YOU. My education is in Accounting which is super helpful in managing a business. I am the face behind every email, message, and phone call. My husband and I love being able to serve future couples and making sure the property is top-notch for all their gorgeous photos!

In 2013, our family purchased a farm in Cedar Hill, Tennessee, which became our weekend getaway. We quickly learned what country living was all about! As a family, we worked most weekends renovating the farmhouse and barns, as we strive to be good stewards of the land. The farm is maintained in such a way as to preserve the natural beauty of the 63 acres we call L&L Farm. By the way, our farm was named for our two daughters, Lauren and Lindy.

L&L Farm’s first wedding was for our oldest daughter in October 2016. We knew we had to share all of the natural beauty this farm has to offer. The unique outdoor spaces, gorgeous countryside, and lush scenery are perfect for the Big Events in your life! You will feel at home here at L&L Farm and will have an unforgettable experience for yourself and your guests.

Every celebration of marriage is special and unique in its own way and we count it an honor.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Every event is a learning experience and fortunately, we haven’t had any huge hiccups. That has everything to do with attracting our ideal clients. I spent at least two years learning the business plus learning from other venue owners to set us up for success!

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
L&L Farm is an award-winning barn and farm wedding venue close to Nashville in Robertson County. We have 62 acres which means your event is super private with so many unique photo locations.

Among those is a 100-year-old barn that was renovated for events, stone tunnels built in 1889, a wooden bridge over Spring Creek, a modern white farmhouse for a bridal suite, and so much more!

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I grew up riding and showing horses so barns and farms are not new for me!
