Hidden Gems: Meet Anel Flores of Stereonashville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anel Flores.

Hi Anel, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was born in Mexico City, Mexico. In 2019, I launched Stereonashville, a bilingual digital platform that uses channels like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram to share everyday information with the Hispanic community, helping bridge the language barrier often preventing Hispanics from staying informed. Stereonashville has succeeded at connecting English and Spanish communities, supporting a variety of local causes including the Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO), helping promote campaigns like Operation Incognito, Real ID, and the new Hands-Free Law. I hold a degree in Communications and Public Relations, with an emphasis in Digital Marketing, from Universidad Latinoamericana, in México City. My professional work includes serving as the Chief Editor of International News for TV Azteca, a major television network and multimedia conglomerate owned by Grupo Salinas. It is the second-largest mass media company in Mexico after Televisa. In. 2019, Anel Flores and Stereonashville received the THSO Director’s Award; and the NAHCC “Spirit in Entrepreneurship Award” during the organization’s 15th Annual Business & Community Excellence Ceremony in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month last October 15. Since I got here, I always live in Franklin, Tn, I love this city. I continue working for Mexico City, on a private health Company dedicated to help the health sector to optimize their process and be more fluent when the doctors are taking care of a patient. We are a 100% Mexican company that develops all the software the doctors, administrative, and directors need to have all the tools to give a better attention to the patient. Now we are the only Mexican company that has this kind of software, developed just by Mexican hands and installed on more that 1,000 hospitals in three different Mexico States. Also, I work for a tremendous company and I love what I do. I am now in First Community Mortgage as a loan officer, helping every day different clients. I am really grateful with FCM for give me this opportunity and be part of one of the best companies to work with. I really appreciate this chance to Jeremy Warren, Miguel Vega, and Claudia Rios. Talking about Stereonashville, I am more than grateful of who we are and all the persons we have with, the ones who give us interviews, the one who asks us to help them with a promotion or production of a spot. And of course, now, one of our biggest challenge, Months ago, we made a partnership with Alto Nivel Promotions LLC, to be their digital platform and co-work with them to bring to Nashville big concerts of new type of music. A market that since today nobody turns around. Now we are preparing a big concert, to demonstrate Nashville is ready for this, that Tennessee has a big, huge and amazing Latino community asking for different kind of events. Next January 22, 2022, we know we will make history in Tennessee, being the first digital platforms that co-work with a company who brings a pop band doing the first concert on Williamson County AG Expo Park. I’m also a board member of the Nashville Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and a board member of Better Options TN.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Beginning with something always is hard, but that’s the hardest part to start. After that, it depends on you, on your goals, and what you want to do and to get. Stereonashville more as a business is my passion, I love what I do and that’s the point, to enjoy the life. My dad died on an accident 6 years ago, and after several years I understood that we are here to live, to smile to be free. We never know. That day, I saw him and we say goodbye, 2 hours after my mom called to say he fall down and was death, that really shocked my life, I cried several nights and days because I didn’t understand why my dad, why me. So that´s the main thing just live, it doesn´t matter if you are the best or you are not the best for the others, if you feel well, if you are happy of what you have, if you have people that wants to work with you no matter how and why, that´s it, you don´t need more.

We’ve been impressed with Stereonashville LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am part of this incredible team of persons that form Stereonashville. I have the great chance to have persons that love as much as I do this company. I am the founder of Stereonashville in 2019; a bilingual digital platform in Nashville, TN, in order to inform, entertain and give access to our Latino community to a content that has production, that we love to open the microphone and give the quality, we don´t care if that takes more hours of work, we are not going to open the mic and see what happen. In 2 years, successfully achieved 35% network growth for Steronashville that makes it fastest network gainer all over the city in a year. Proficient in Social Media Platforms and active on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. Stereonashville just with less than a year that was launched received THSO Director´s Award for “Hands-Free Law Spanish Campaign” and received the Spirit of Entrepreneurship Award from the Nashville Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in honor of the Hispanic Heritage Business and Community Excellence Ceremony. we are here to be show that it doesn´t matter we are a digital platform because we have the responsibility to have pre-production, production, and post-production. That if we are going to do spot or we need to say something it has to be checked several times. That if we are going to have variety content, we need time to prepare what we are going to say. We are a group of responsible people we know how to produce, how to write, how to make a web, a logo. We are specialized in different areas. Something that not all the media has today. Of course, today, our biggest goal is to make the difference and show that we are ready to receive another Tupe of artist, not always regional Mexican. We want to show that we are ready to be part those cities that other Hispanic famous artist turn around to present a concert or event. We are ready to be more than a digital media. We produce logos, website, spots, jingles, for our clients because we have people that love what they know, and that they love to share it with another persons.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
This is really hard to answer. I would love to tell you, but sometimes it’s hard to discover that sometimes you have to move really fast to be on the right place at the right moment. When you are new you discover that the line is just on one side, and the circle where you have to be on is so close that you need to fight as much as you can to maintain you on board. Sadly, sometimes you discover that not enough is more than hours of work but that’s the point to maintain your goal no matter what is the cost of that.
