Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony Davis
Hi Anthony, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
East Nashville Beer Works began as an idea in 2015, to create something different in Nashville. A brewery that was all about the taproom experience for YOU, the customer. A brewery that brewed amazing beer, but also a taproom that was welcoming to all, family friendly, dog friendly, had food, outdoor space, and was just FUN!
We love East Nashville, we love Lebanon, and are all about community and bringing people to our taprooms. We are in the “good times” business. If you come here, YOU WILL HAVE A GOOD TIME, and we will see to it. The beer, the pizza, the good vibes, it’s a can’t miss.
ENBW is often described as “next-level” family friendly and dog friendly with our beer, expansive beer garden (now featuring a playground area) and full food menu, the taproom has become a central gathering place and hosted hundreds of events. In 2024, we expanded our concept in a BIG way, opening our Wilson County Taproom 30 minutes east in Lebanon, TN. We’ll be brewing at both locations, and have two awesome taprooms now!
Being a “Community” is one of our core values, and our motto is “Beer is Community” for this reason. No matter what facet of our operations, whether bringing in groups to have their special events here, collaborating with different breweries in town, or purchasing local supplies like our honey for “Miro Miel” or Diskin Cider for our taproom, we strive for community. We hope you become a part of it.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Always challenges! Craft beer has been through ups and down over the decades. We had record growth in the 2010’s, but post-Covid, for many reasons, we are seeing the industry flat to slightly declining. There is a consolidation of breweries happening. During Covid was of course a huge challenge and very scary being a place that people come to, and all the lives and jobs especially of employees that were at risk at the time. Being a community place with great outdoor space, we persevered, and thankfully came out the other side in growth mode. The government programs like PPP helped breweries tremendously and we are so grateful for that as well as our customers.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At ENBW, we like to say we are Tennessee’s most family and dog friendly brewery.
The things that set us apart:
Our beer is very approachable. We will sometimes (tongue in cheek) call ourselves the “light beer kings.” We lead with a Honey Blonde Ale, “Miro Miel” as our flagship beer, and have a 2nd light beer, “Tennessee Sipper” Golden Light as part of our four annual core lineup beers.
Family Friendly: Many breweries our family-friendly, but we take it to the next level. We have a playground at both locations, and a dog park at our new Wilson County (just east of Nashville) expansion brewery and taproom.
Great food: we have a fantastic full food menu featuring our pizzas, salads and apps.
Any big plans?
Our future has just begun as we recently launched in mid-October our expansion brewery and taproom in Lebanon, Tennessee, 30 minutes east of Nashville. We are installing our brewhouse there, but the taproom opened in October of ’24. We expect to expand production significantly in 2025 and into 2026 and beyond. We are brewing a multitude of beer styles, but we have also rolled out our Delta-9 THC Seltzer products, under the brand name “Sky-9” by East Nashville Beer Works.
We will continue as well to grow business at both our Wilson County and Trinity Lane Taprooms, as well as our off-site events with our beer truck, where we look forward to being out in the community.
