Hi Candace, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
In 2019, while working at a brokerage firm in Cincinnati, a friend shared her success with HOTWORX, but unfortunately, there wasn’t a convenient location nearby. When I moved back to Charlotte towards the end of 2019, I found the closest studio and became a member. Before long, I convinced my mom to join me for a session. The relief she experienced from her chronic pain was so significant that it motivated her to open her own HOTWORX location. In 2021, we invested in the franchise, moved to Nashville, and established our own studio!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Absolutely not, but I always have more fun on bumpy roads haha.
We had struggles with the supply chain due to covid-19 and had to wait extra long to open our doors. We have amazing members who stuck it out with us and we wouldn’t be where we are today without them.
