Hi Caressa, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I am a licensed Esthetician and Massage Therapist. I’m always thinking of new ideas and I took a coaching class that showed me how to use Instagram. I used to drive for Uber and at the time, I was in school for massage and I noticed a lot of bachelorettes Downtown and then it just clicked in my head to start to doing spa parties for bachelorettes. So one day, I just started thinking and writing down all the details and made my dream a reality.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It’s been good. One of the struggles would have been COVID-19 had started and also to make people aware of your brand so they can know you exist.
We’ve been impressed with Omni Massage & Beauty Bar, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Omni Massage & Beauty Bar services everyone!! We do couple massages for date nights, engagement, and more. We offer spa parties to bachelorettes, girl’s nights, birthday parties, Christmas parties, inbound and mobile massages. I specialize in the skincare. Omni Massage & Beauty Bar has a service for you guys that you or your family and friends will enjoy. I’m most proud of me stating persistent no matter what while bringing something different to the Nashville area while relaxing them in the pleasure of their home, hotel, or Airbnb.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
If you’re starting out, get you a coach and don’t worry about what you don’t have. Just start anyway. I would also recommend “Think and Grow Rich”. I usually start stuff way before I need it so for me, I would say nothing.
