Hidden Gems: Meet Charlie Pulling of Bookkeeping

Today we’d like to introduce you to Charlie Pulling.

Alright, thank you for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us how you got started?
I have always enjoyed food, whether cooking or going out for meals. About 13 years ago, I discovered that I was intolerant to Gluten, Wheat, Garlic & Dairy. It was hard at first to go out for meals, but then restaurants started doing options for me. People always asked me what I eat and where, and I had always enjoyed writing, so I thought I would put both together and write a blog as my hobby. One day I would love to turn it into a job.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been smooth?
There have been struggles. Yes, being able to eat these foods for years and then being told you can no longer eat them, you have cravings for them. I will admit sometimes I risk it but then feel so poorly afterward.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My career is bookkeeping, which I have been doing for about 12 years now.

What’s next?
My plans are to move to Nashville and hopefully do food blogging and bookkeeping.
